“Oti-Hansu is a 2.7 hectares mixed plot located in the northwestern part of Estonia. Arable land largely dominates the plot (2.2 hectares). The rest of the land welcomes a few trees boarding a large forest nearby (0.44 hectares), as well as a small pasture (0.04 hectares). The agricultural method used to exploit the land is crop rotation. Wheat, barley, and rapeseed are alternatively cultivated throughout the year, and the land is left fallow regularly to avoid soil depletion. When in fallow, grass grows abundantly, then is subsequently harvested for animal consumption.”
